Bicycle Tours

There are three biking tours that provide the opportunity to experience the beauty of both the Inner Banks and the Outer Banks.  Please take the time to learn more about these tours and the communities involved.

Albemarle Sound Tour

The Albemarle Sound Tour is offered by Carolina Tailwinds.  This four day tour begins in Historic Edenton.  The tour includes a visit to the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, the Town of Manteo, the White Doe Inn, and the Currituck National Wildlife Refuge.

Ocracoke Tour

The Ocracoke Tour is also offered by Carolina Tailwinds.  There is a four day and a six day version of this tour.  The tour begins in Historic New Bern.  The tour includes visits to Swansboro, the Town of Beaufort, Cedar Island National Wildlife Refuge, Ocracoke, and Oriental.

North Carolina Coast Tour

The North Carolina Coast Tour is offered by VBT Bicycling Vacations.  This six day tour starts in Historic New Bern.  The tour includes visits to Lake Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge, Swan Quarter, Ocracoke, Cedar Island National Wildlife Refuge, Core Sound Waterfowl Museum, the Town of Beaufort, the NC Maritime Museum, the Cape Lookout National Seashore, Pollocksville, and the Croatan National Forest.
